Hello my name is Ami,

I am a native, qualified and extensively experienced Japanese teacher.

I have been offering Japanese tuition for over 25 years to classes and private individuals, with students of all ages and any level, from complete beginners to degree level. Many students have achieved success at GCSE, A Level, JLPT and in University exams.
I am currently teaching classes in colleges and to business clients as well as to individual students to prepare for exams or to help with degree courses, both in person and online.

I make a plan for each lesson based on careful assessment of each student's needs. I combine set texts with my own material which my students enjoy very much! I aim to give lessons that balance the different aspects of language study. I am flexible and try to make myself available around student's busy schedules.

I am also a translator and interpreter.
